Second consecutive year of HPCI/Fugaku allocation (FY2026)

My project was selected for Fugaku General Access (FY2026 Period-A), marking a second consecutive year of HPCI/Fugaku allocation.

I’m pleased to share that my research project has been selected for HPCI computational resources on the supercomputer Fugaku for the second consecutive year.

For FY2026 (Period-A), the awarded Fugaku General Access project is:

  • Project ID: hp260140
  • Title: From Validation to Application: Advancing the Super-Droplet Method and Evaluating Weather Intervention Strategies for Extreme Rainfall Controllability in Japan
  • Awarded resources: 4,325,000 node hours (RIKEN R-CCS, Supercomputer Fugaku)

This award supports large-scale simulations to further advance the Super-Droplet Method and evaluate strategies related to extreme rainfall controllability in Japan.
